MAESTRO FRESH WES
Wes Williams (aka Maestro Fresh Wes) has recently become the first rap artist to ever have a song inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.  His legendary single “Let Your Backbone Slide”was the first rap recording to reach Gold and Platinum Status and is also considered to be a seminal intergenerational classic.

ROB BASE
In 1988, Profile Records released Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock’s debut album It Takes Two. The title track became a massive single. The single and the album were certified platinum by the RIAA on June 12, 1989 and December 28, 1989, respectively, and produced 3 top ten hits. The single, gained Single of the Year honours from both Spin Magazine and The Village Voice. Additional singles such as Get on the Dance Floor (Which reached #1 on the Dance Club charts) and Joy and Pain continued to help push the album to multi-platinum status.

MIX MASTER MIKE of the BEASTIE BOYS (90 MIN DJ SET)
Named as “the world’s greatest DJ” by USA Today, Mix Master Mike’s status as a premier, award-winning DJ and producer has allowed him to maintain his rank as an influential musician, and become a household name.

Grammy Award winner Mix Master Mike’s many accomplishments include a 3 time consecutive win of the DMC World title, a win of the 1992 New Music Seminar DJ Battle (where he became the first West Coast DJ to win the title of World Champion), and being inducted into the Rock ’n Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 with the Beastie Boys. His skillful, hard-hitting scratch work has rightfully earned him the status of a pioneer in the hip-hop and DJ communities.
