Circle of Diverse Voices

Nana Yaa Yeboaa is bringing Brantford out of hiding and giving the city a stage on Friday, June 17 with her festival Circle of Diverse Voices. This inclusive event will be an evening of poetry, spoken word and music held at the Woodman Community Centre located at 491 Grey St.

Nana recognizes that everyone comes at life from different angles and is providing a safe space on stage for folks to share their stories. This free event is hosted by Nana herself and will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Be authentic. Be an inspiration.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Maichina Veri is a writer based in Brantford, Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Montreal’s Concordia University and has a background in Journalism – Print from Niagara College.
