There is nothing like a refreshing cocktail on a sunny patio in the summer. If you’re looking for your next go-to summer hangout spot, look no further than Manns Distillery. This distillery has a clean, crisp aesthetic that is artsy, bougie and welcoming. BTOWN reached out to Manns Distillery’s bar manager, Tracey, to find out about this summer’s best cocktails. Drink your plants — you won’t be disappointed!

Strawberry Rhubarb Mule

1½ oz Manns Strawberry Rhubarb Gin
1 oz Lime Juice
1 oz Simple Syrup
Top with Ginger Beer
Garnish with Lime Wedge

The Strawberry Rhubarb Mule showcases Manns’s stunning strawberry rhubarb gin. If you could drink grandma's homemade pie, this is what it would taste like. They gently steam fresh juiced strawberries and rhubarb grown locally in Brant and Norfolk County to extract maximum flavour. With a dash of organic sugar cane, this gorgeous spirit tastes as good as it looks. The Strawberry Rhubarb Mule is refreshing, slightly sweet and snappy. Perfect for a summer evening relaxing with friends!

2 oz Manns White Tea Gin
½ oz Dry Vermouth
Garnish with Caperberries

Get ready for a twist on the classic martini! Manns’s white tea gin is one of their signature products — tried, tested and true. With hints of white tea surrounded by tropical notes of papaya, coconut, pomegranate and cardamom, this gin is perfect to elevate the classic martini into a quali-tea cocktail.

Jolly Rancher Cocktail

2 oz Manns Watermelon Vodka
¾ oz Triple Berry Syrup (or Cassis)
¾ oz Lemon Juice
3 oz Soda
2 dashes Manns Lime Bitters
Garnish with Lime Wedge

The Jolly Rancher Cocktail features Manns’s beautiful watermelon vodka as well as their lime bitters. Starting with their crisp, clean and classic small batch vodka, they imbue the vodka with a refreshing watermelon twist. A step up from your childhood candy, this is a fun cocktail for fun times.
