Tevya Heller, executive producer behind the shows “OMG” and “Dog Park Tales,” describes his newest series, “Party in the 6ix Live,” as “Electric Circus for Gen Z,” and he is inviting Brantfordians to be a part of it.
The original, a Much Music staple of the 80’s and 90’s, featured young folks – many of whom travelled from across Ontario – dancing the night away at a Toronto studio and relishing their 90 minutes of fame.
Launching April 1 on Instagram, the new series will spotlight the diverse youth, fashions, and music from Toronto – and beyond.
“We want folks to know that if you're 16 years and older, we'd love you to come and hang out and party on an episode,” Tevya says, “You don't have to be a great dancer. You just have to love music. We're not looking for actors. We're not looking for models. We're just looking for Canadians who love to dance.”

The invite is also open to up-and-coming musicians in dance, techno, and house genres, who would like to be introduced to a wider audience. Tevya says, “We're really trying to be ground zero for Canadian pop culture. We want to be the place where, if you're an artist, you come on our show, to show the world what you're all about.”
