The City of Brantford, along with GrandBridge Energy, will be spreading joy and lifting spirits with the return of the Santa Claus Parade this Saturday, November 26. The City says the parade brings people together and this year’s theme “Making Spirits Bright” aims to “spread holiday cheer as we celebrate as a community after two years without a parade.”

Starting at 6:00 p.m., the parade will make its jolly way from Stanley Street to Harmony Square, lighting up the night with colourful and festive floats.

The Brantford Food Bank will be collecting donations along the route. If you have a non-perishable food item or monetary donation, please stay seated for your safety as a volunteer will come to you.

Why is making this stop in Brantford for the parade so important to Santa Claus? The City of Brantford says, “We know that Santa loves to visit Brantford for the evening parade and he even stays to continue celebrating at the Parade After Party in Harmony Square. He’s overjoyed to see everyone in-person to officially kick off the holiday season in Brantford.”

Once the parade ends, the after party begins with Harmony Squirrel and the tree lighting ceremony at Harmony Square. Stick around for some free activities such as photos with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, hot chocolate, live holiday music and more.

If you miss Santa this Saturday, he’ll be in Paris on December 3 and in St. George and Burford December 10.
